Group Details
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded professional to join our Institutional U.S. Rates business at the intersection of product strategy, data science, and market structure. This role offers the opportunity to shape data-driven product strategy across one of the leading electronic trading platforms in global fixed income.
The individual in this position will develop data-driven insights, analytical tools, and predictive models that help inform product strategy, improve client outcomes, and identify new commercial opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong technical skills with curiosity about financial markets, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to help drive strategy in a fast-moving electronic trading environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze trading, market, and client behavior data to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making
- Develop and test predictive models for areas such as pricing, transaction costs, and market behavior using both statistical and machine learning techniques
- Leverage AI and coding agents to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve the speed and quality of analysis
- Design and build analytical tools, applications, and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients, using technologies such as Python, SQL, Tableau, and Agentic AI development tools
- Partner closely with product, sales, and senior leadership to deliver compelling analysis, reporting, and recommendations that support business growth
- Work across teams to gather, validate, and synthesize data from multiple sources into clear and impactful outputs
- Help evolve reporting infrastructure and analytical processes to align with governance, compliance, marketing, and business priorities
- Identify opportunities to create differentiated data products and analytical capabilities that are revenue-generating and enhances client value
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer/Data Science or any equivalent analytical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of Fixed Income market making/sales or buyside trading experience preferred, or 5+ years of related quantitative or analytical experience
- Ability to ask the right questions, think outside the box and be a problem solver
- Strong interest in fixed income markets, electronic trading, and the application of data science to commercial and strategic challenges
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; strong Excel skills required
- Experience building analytical models, reports, dashboards, or decision-support tools using large or complex datasets
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and experience using AI/agentic tools to enhance analysis or workflow efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to frame the right questions before diving into analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across functions and levels of seniority
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and sound judgment

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $100,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
