Own the weekly renewal forecasting process, including Salesforce data integrity, ATR model maintenance, forecast tooling, leadership reporting, and renewal save programs. Build weekly forecast narratives, resolve linking and amendment issues, maintain Google Colab and analytics workflows, and coordinate Renewals, Customer Success, Sales, and Finance stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and target visibility.

At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers.
We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in:

Primary Responsibilities

● Rhythm of the business: Own the cadence of renewal manager reviews and CS BU leader forecast alignment, through the weekly leadership meeting with the Renewals leader and Finance, to the final vetted Weekly Deck handoff to Rachel.

● Weekly renewal forecasting: Run the end-to-end weekly forecast, pull and refresh the ATR model via the Google Colab notebook, audit and adjust the Forecast Walk with manual Salesforce corrections, push shifts to the week-over-week dashboard, and maintain the FCST Call Calculator so business unit leaders can set their forward-looking quarter and year call.

● Weekly narrative and rhythm commentary (first 90-day priority): Build the "why" behind forecast movements each week, the Rhythm of Business

commentary and the Weekly Narrative feeding the automated weekly forecast update, partnering with Renewals and Sales leaders on account-level shifts. This step has been running ad hoc since the prior owner's departure; restoring it to a sustained weekly cadence is a top early priority for this role.

● Renewal Save program: Own the Renewal Save List, manage save plays and win-back strategies for at-risk accounts, and produce deal write-ups for leadership review.

● Data integrity and linking: Own the ATR model and Forecast Walk, as the source of truth. Resolve linking gaps, debooks, and amendment errors before they reach leadership reporting.

● Forecast tooling ownership: Build and maintain the Google Colab notebook behind the ATR code and the analytics workflow behind the automated weekly forecast update, evolving both as the forecast process changes rather than treating them as fixed infrastructure.

● Cross-functional interlock: Serve as the connective point between Renewals, CS BU leaders, Sales, and Finance on forecast accuracy and quarterly and yearly target line-of-sight. Flag structural gaps, such as the current lack of a formal Sales/Renewals interlock, rather than working around them silently.

Experience & Qualifications

Must-Haves:

● Three to five years in Renewals Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar GTM operational role, owning a recurring forecasting motion end to end. ● Deep Salesforce fluency for renewal opportunities, quoting, and linking, you know where the data breaks and how to fix it.

● Working fluency in Google Colab (or comparable notebook-based scripting) and Analytics tools, sufficient to maintain and troubleshoot the workflows the forecast depends on, not just consume their output.

● Comfort in a high-pressure, weekly-cadence environment where the forecast is due whether or not the data is clean.

● Strong Excel and Google Sheets modeling for building and maintaining forecast views.

● Clear written communication, turning account shifts and forecast movement into a leadership-ready narrative on a weekly cadence.

Nice-to-Haves:

● ATR or comparable renewal-tracking model experience.

● Experience operating in an operational matrixed reporting structure. Success Measures (First Year)

1. Weekly Rhythm of Business narrative and Weekly Automated Forecast Update restored to a sustained, on-time weekly cadence.

2. Consistent, on-time weekly forecast delivery.

3. Improved linking accuracy and reduced unlinked ATR.

4. A documented save-plays program with tracked outcomes.

5. A named, working Renewals/Sales interlock, if still open at hire.
