The Opportunity

At Qualified by Salesforce, our Renewals Manager will strive to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Renewals Manager will own a portfolio of existing customers, prioritize maximizing customer retention through negotiating complex contracts and developing new business from existing customers. At Qualified, you are holding the keys to our annual renewal kingdom.  You drive these existing relationships ensuring that we maintain thriving, happy customers while also navigating the moving pieces and complexities around startup contracts that also will cross over to massive Salesforce agreements through eventual M&A activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning our customer renewals by building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships

  • Developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing customer facing presentations and pricing

  • Answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers

  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and minimize customer churn

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

  • Prepare reports on account status

  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities

  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a Renewals Manager, Account Manager, or Key Account Manager.

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and CPQ tools

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

  • You have a way with people, and are an excellent communicator

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in order to handle multiple tasks and clients at once

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $71,400 - $95,550 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $78,540 - $105,140 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
