JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Advertising Sales is seeking a Research Manager to join our Ad Sales Research team. This team is responsible for demonstrating the value of advertising across the FOX portfolio. We use a mix of custom research, attribution tools, thought leadership initiatives, and brand lift studies to show how FOX’s linear and digital properties drive advertiser outcomes such as awareness, favorability, consideration, intent, and behavioral response.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to our outcomes measurement work, with a strong focus on supporting the Entertainment sales team while also working across other FOX verticals. You will design and manage research studies, work with third party partners, analyze data, and turn insights into clear narratives for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a role in curating thought-leadership and consumer insights for the company.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

Outcomes Measurement and Analysis

  • Support the design, execution, and interpretation of research that measures how advertising on FOX influences key brand metrics.

  • Work closely with third party measurement vendors and ensure study design, methodology, and reporting align with FOX standards.

  • Design and execute in-house surveys.

  • Analyze results from custom and syndicated studies and translate them into clear insights for advertisers.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and materials that explain how FOX campaigns deliver measurable value.

Thought Leadership and Portfolio Support

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives that highlight trends in viewer behavior, advertising effectiveness, or content engagement.

  • Assist other groups within the Ad Sales Research team as needed, ensuring alignment across portfolio wide insights and priorities.

  • Support marketing teams by developing research-based proof points and materials for tentpole events, press needs, and sales collateral.

Client Facing Insights and Support

  • Recommend impactful research solutions that effectively measure a brand’s KPI

  • Prepare post campaign reports, presentations, and insights summaries for both internal and external clients.

  • Participate in client meetings to explain methodologies, walk through results, and answer questions.

  • Identify opportunities to develop case studies and success stories that reinforce the strength of FOX advertising.

Process and Innovation

  • Help enhance FOX’s measurement capabilities through new tools, processes, and research frameworks.

  • Stay current on industry trends in brand lift, attribution, cross platform measurement, research methodologies, and viewer behavior.

  • Support improvements in campaign setup, tracking, and outcomes reporting workflows.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in media research, advertising research, or a related analytical field.

  • Experience with brand lift studies, attribution partners, and cross platform measurement.

  • Familiarity with research and measurement providers such as Nielsen, EDO, iSpot, VideoAmp, MRI/Simmons, Dynata, Attain, Latitude, Marketcast, YouGov or similar companies.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $92,000.00-104,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
