Location: 701 White Pond Dr Suite 300 Akron, OH 44320 and will also travel 1 day per week to 231 Seasons Rd. Hudson, OH 44224
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4: 30 p.m., Fridays: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and participates in the day-to-day clinical care of patients
  • Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates patient care utilizing evidence and nursing theory in practice through the organization's care delivery model. Coordinates patient quality of care on behalf of provider.
  • Communicates clearly with patients, families, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to achieve healthcare goals. Acts as a patient advocate in regard to patient quality of care. Teaches patient/family at their level of understanding and documents response.
  • Provides and documents procedures, medications, treatments and intravenous therapy. Reviews patients' screening tests and proactively provide the providers results.
  • Interprets clinical data/patient responses and collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. Provides prompt accurate shift/handoff reports and shares pertinent patient care information throughout shift, as applicable.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio
  • ACLS
  • 6+ months of infusion experience
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task between doing infusions and administrative work of prior authorizations and financial assistance
  • Proven competent with peripheral IV's and Central Line access

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of doing prior authorizations for infusion medications
  • Experience with mixing medications

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 - $52 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
