About the Position

Bluefish is looking for a driven, resourceful Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate the growth of our enterprise business. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing sales organization at a pivotal stage of growth and play a meaningful role in building our sales development engine. You'll partner directly with Senior Sales Directors and our Marketing team to identify and engage decision-makers at some of the world's largest brands, develop thoughtful account strategies, manage inbound and outbound leads, and turn prospecting into qualified sales opportunities. We're looking for someone who has already developed a foundation in sales and is ready to take the next step. You're comfortable picking up the phone, creative in how you open doors, disciplined in your follow-through, and excited by the challenge of selling innovative technology into complex organizations. This is not just about booking meetings. It's about building relationships, creating pipeline, and helping Bluefish establish a lasting presence within the world's leading enterprises.

To support our continued goal of meaningful in-person collaboration, applicants of this role will be required to be onsite in our New York office at least 3-days a week.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive Enterprise Pipeline: Identify, research, and engage high-value prospective customers through targeted, multichannel outbound campaigns spanning email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing: Work closely with Marketing to manage, nurture, and convert both inbound and cold leads into qualified sales opportunities. Help develop lead engagement strategies, prioritize follow-up, and improve conversion across the funnel.
  • Build Strategic Account Intelligence: Develop stakeholder maps for priority enterprise accounts, identifying key decision-makers, influencers, organizational structures, and opportunities to expand engagement.
  • Partner with Senior Sales Directors: Collaborate closely with senior sellers to develop account-specific messaging, personalized outreach strategies, and prospecting plans designed to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Qualify and Convert Leads: Evaluate and prioritize marketing-generated and outbound leads based on account fit, buyer seniority, engagement, and commercial potential, ensuring timely and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Nurture Key Relationships: Support Senior Sales Directors in cultivating relationships across complex buying committees, maintaining momentum with prospective customers, and expanding engagement within strategic accounts.
  • Represent Bluefish in Market: Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and other opportunities to connect with prospective customers and build relationships with senior marketing and business leaders.
  • Measure and Optimize Performance: Own prospecting activity, CRM hygiene, and pipeline reporting, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations to track conversion and continuously improve results.
  • Help Build the Playbook: Bring ideas, energy, and a willingness to experiment as we establish and scale a repeatable enterprise sales development function.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional sales experience, ideally in B2B technology, SaaS, or another consultative sales environment.
  • Experience prospecting, conducting outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and contributing to pipeline generation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with senior business stakeholders.
  • A research-driven, thoughtful approach to prospecting. You understand that effective outreach starts with knowing your customer.
  • A competitive, results-oriented mindset and the resilience to navigate rejection, adapt, and keep moving forward.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the discipline to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies, and the future of marketing.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial attitude and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to work from our New York City office at least three days per week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot or another CRM platform.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement, prospecting, or account intelligence tools.
  • Experience selling to enterprise organizations or working with marketing and technology buyers.
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth business.
