About The Role

As a fast-paced growing startup, we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in our NYC office and help drive our mission forward.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong desire to help build the go-to-market motion from the ground up and become a critical part of our growth journey. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at CurbWaste, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and fostering strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and driving revenue growth. This person needs to possess an incredible work ethic, grit, integrity, and subject matter expertise.

Requirements

What you will do:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Research and identify key decision-makers within target industries and organizations.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Schedule meetings and demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion.
     

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with 1-3 years of experience in software sales, SaaS, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage a sales pipeline
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Data-driven decision-making and a strong analytical mindset
  • Sales skills, including lead generation, objection handling, and relationship management
  • In-depth product knowledge and a thorough understanding of our SaaS solution
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
  • Collaboration and teamwork with various departments within the organization
