The Sales Development Representative will engage and qualify leads, support deal progression, maintain CRM data, and represent the company at events.
Merkle Science provides blockchain transaction monitoring and intelligence solutions for web3 companies, digital asset service providers, financial institutions, law enforcement and government agencies to detect, investigate and prevent illicit use of cryptocurrencies. Our vision is to make cryptocurrencies safe and provide infrastructure for the safe and compliant growth of cryptocurrencies.
Merkle Science is headquartered in New York with offices in Singapore, Bangalore and London. The team has combined experience across Bank of America, Paypal, Luno, Thomson Reuters and Amazon. The company has raised over US$27 MM from SIG, Beco, Republic, DCG, Kenetic, GGV and several others.
💥 What will you do?
- Identify, research, and engage private and public sector leads across the US.
- Qualify inbound and outbound prospects through discovery calls and outreach.
- Partner with Account Executives to support deal progression and handoffs.
- Create and maintain Sales collateral for the Sales team to be used in product demos and customer deals.
- Maintain clean, accurate data and activity tracking in our CRM.
- Represent Merkle Science at key industry events and protocol ecosystem gatherings, acting as a visible ambassador for our brand.
- Continuously learn about blockchain infrastructure, compliance, and risk management to position Merkle Science's solutions effectively.
🙋 What makes you a great addition to the team?
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships (preferably in crypto, Web3, or B2B SaaS).
- Interest or experience in working with blockchain protocols, stablecoin issuers, or Web3 infrastructure companies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable prospecting and building relationships in early-stage or high-growth environments.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced startup.
- Preferably located in New York or the East Coast and comfortable in working East Coast hours.
- Bonus: Prior exposure to compliance, risk, or blockchain analytics solutions.
