Act as technical lead for partner integrations: scope, design, build proofs-of-concept, document reference architectures, troubleshoot integrations, and liaise between partners, product, and engineering to accelerate adoption.
About us
Aave Labs builds innovative products leveraging blockchain technologies. Aave Labs' suite includes the Aave app, unleashing the Aave Protocol and its native stablecoin GHO, and Family, a design-first mobile crypto wallet. Our vision is to build a people-powered internet that benefits all.

Having cultivated a thriving, collaborative culture, our team is kind, welcoming and passionate about what we are building. We celebrate differences and seek to develop and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool from all over the world. No matter where you are based, no ghost will be left behind and we appreciate every moment we get to work and have fun together.
About the role
We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join the Business Development team at Aave Labs, sitting at the intersection of partners, product, and engineering. This role is critical to helping partners successfully integrate with and build on top of Aave’s infrastructure – translating commercial opportunities into clear, scalable technical solutions.
You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to partners, supporting them from early scoping and pre-sales conversations through to implementation and launch. This is a hands-on, externally facing role focused on architecture, enablement, and execution, ensuring partners can move quickly while building on Aave in a robust and scalable way.
How you can make an impact:
- Partner closely with Business Development as the technical subject matter expert, joining partner conversations to articulate Aave’s capabilities and shape integration approaches
- Support pre-integration scoping by helping partners visualise how Aave fits into their existing stack and broader product strategy
- Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout integration design, build, and deployment
- Design and document reference architectures, SDK templates, and integration patterns that reduce friction and accelerate partner adoption
- Build and test proofs of concept, demos, and example integrations that showcase best practices and unlock partner momentum
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during integration, ensuring smooth launches and strong post-deployment performance
- Work closely with Engineering and Product to relay partner needs, surface technical insights, and influence roadmap priorities
- Keep internal stakeholders aligned on timelines, dependencies, and progress across multiple concurrent partner integrations
Let's connect if you have:
- 4+ years of experience in solutions architecture, partner engineering, or blockchain development, ideally within Fintech, Crypto, or Web3
- Strong technical fluency and the ability to understand and read Solidity and Rust (hands-on coding experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to translate business goals and partner requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort managing multiple partner integrations simultaneously, operating autonomously, and maintaining momentum across projects
- A strong curiosity for DeFi and a genuine enthusiasm for how open financial infrastructure is evolving
Haven’t quite met all the criteria? Let’s not miss out on the chance to speak. Whilst you might not meet every single requirement, you might bring other, more exciting skills to the companies!
