Account Manager, Emerging
We're looking for an Account Manager to join Team Snapchat! Within our Advertising Solutions organization, the Emerging sales team focuses on challenger brands, disruptive business models and high-growth, high opportunity performance advertisers, ranging from some of Snap’s largest customers to early-stage startups. As an Account Manager, you will partner with an Account Executive to deepen relationships and increase revenue across a core group of clients within a specific client category or advertising vertical.
What you’ll do:
Build, manage, and grow relationships and advertising spend with key clients and advertising partners by helping them achieve their performance goals
Partner with Account Executives, Creative Strategists and cross functional partners to develop innovative, insight-driven digital campaigns on Snapchat, bringing measurable ROI for your clients
Become a master of Snap’s world class internal advertising tools, diving deep into campaign performance data; guiding KPI-driven measurement strategies, identifying performance trends, optimizing campaigns to achieve results, and providing recommendations for upsell opportunities
Work on first to market creative executions, combining Snap’s array of advertising products across augmented reality, direct response and brand to achieve the performance objectives of your clients
Serve as the Snap product expert by educating clients and ad partners on Snap’s advertising product suite and influencing Snap’s ad product roadmap by owning your client’s participation in Alphas and Betas
Present campaign analysis and resolve client objections in face to face client meetings as well as bi-weekly conference calls
Manage projects involving complex work streams and cross-functional collaboration (internally and externally)
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study
3+ years experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related field
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of both brand and performance advertising metrics and the competitive landscape of digital marketing platforms
Experience buying or selling advertising in the Auto and/or Travel verticals
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as experience with analyzing datasets and delivering actionable insights
Understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies)
Proficient in CRM and data analysis tools such as Salesforce and Looker
Pre-existing relationships with client decision-makers
