About the Job

To support the firm’s continued growth, Redesign is currently seeking to hire a Capital Partnerships Lead with experience building best-in-class IR infrastructure, project management and processes. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with the Head of Strategy & Finance on strategic and operational elements of investor relations, including establishing and maintaining a CRM, investor reporting, account management, marketing materials and co-invest processes.

You will help to develop and manage an institutional investor relations function and work on strategic positioning and effective communications of Redesign’s vision, performance, and branding to all external stakeholders through an annual investor day, presence at conferences and other mediums. You will leverage your experience to assist and support the development of new investment strategies for Redesign. The Capital Partnerships Lead will report to the Head of Strategy & Finance at our NYC headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Existing Investor Relationship Management and Client Service
    • Maintaining, enhancing and optimizing relationships with the firm’s existing investor base
    • Manage client services including investor requests and due diligence processes
    • Collaborate with finance and legal teams on investor communications
  • New Limited Partner Development
    • Systematically mapping and targeting investors not presently invested with Redesign
    • Establishing and building relationships with new investors and their consultants
    • Articulating Redesing’s overall investment processes, products and platform differentiating characteristics in a crisp manner
    • Assist in onboarding new investors
  • Capital Raising/Project Management
    • Assist in end-to-end fundraising management
    • Assist in the production of investor presentations, annual firm meeting, and related events
    • Monitor and develop a deep level of understanding of Redesign’s portfolio companies
    • Manage accurate and timely completion of LP information and data requests outside of fundraises
  • LP Co-investment Process & Management
    • Assist in coordination and communication of LP co-investment syndication processes
    • Support LP due diligence needs
  • Market Feedback Sharing
    • Provide insights regarding important investor developments and changes in investment appetite, news and other information which might factor into Redesign’s overall marketing and business strategy

Relevant Experience:

  • Background
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting or statistics with a record of high academic achievement
    • 6+ years of directly relevant and successful investor relations experience, either in an in-house capacity and/or as a third-party placement
  • Experience
    • Experience working with investors and understanding investor objectives
    • A history of maintaining high standards of service excellence with both existing clients and prospective investors
  • Skills
    • Entrepreneurial drive with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to form deep trust based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to drive a process forward through completion, and to effectively prioritize competing objectives and urgent deadlines
    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with company founders and management teams
    • Motivated individual contributor with hands-on financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Spreadsheets) and presentation acumen (PowerPoint/Google Slides)
