Director, Investor Sales
Cadre is looking for an Investor Relations Director to help lead and coordinate our direct to investor sales effort. Successful candidates are high-energy, driven business development leaders with sound business acumen and extensive experience selling investment products. What You’ll Do:
Define sales approach and drive conversion for individual High Net Worth investors
- Develop a sales playbook for individual investors focused on initial and repeat conversion into one-off and programmatic real estate offerings on the Cadre platform
- Refine a pitch strategy and approach for both inbound and outbound investor sourcing
- Coordinate with Marketing to implement seamless direct to client marketing and sales strategies aimed at growing Cadre’s High Net Worth investor base
Drive conversion and closing of individual investors / customers
- Drive pipeline of thousands of new High Net Worth investors to platform
- Develop a repeatable sales process and build team to ensure that process scales (over time ensure team adheres to it)
- Meet with and call hundreds of clients to discuss Cadre, specific transactions, and ultimately close investor commitments
- Attend industry events and conferences to generate new leads
- Establish a referral network to drive additional leads
- Position Cadre as leading investment platform for individual investors
- Reduce sales cycle for new client to conversion
- Expand reach of Cadre platform geographically (both US and international)
- Implement client / investor events and conferences to drive new leads and conversion
- Expertly respond to client inquiries and requests
Develop sales analytics
- Develop KPIs and related tracking mechanisms to drive analysis of sales performance; respond to successes, weaknesses, and opportunities
- Work with Marketing to define cross-department quality/acceptance metrics (MQLs, SQLs, SALs, etc.) for investor leads.
- Identify trends and opportunities ahead of the curve to differentiate Cadre from competitors
- Make actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements
- Effectively and aggressively test opportunities to shorten sales cycle
Collaboration across team
- Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to drive outreach and conversion
- Work with product team to create supportive branding/product experience to drive client conversion and retention
- Play a critical role in growing an industry-leading commercial real estate investment platform
Establish and grow network / relationships
- Identify and attend industry events to generate new client / business leads
- Grow your personal and professional network through in-market business development, conference attendance and other avenues
Other opportunities and areas of focus
- Train, manage and mentor junior team members to increase their impact as revenue generators for the company
- Regular and consistent research on the latest market best practices and trends
What You Have:
- 7+ years of experience within rigorous sales/relationship management environments
- Track record of closing individual clients at scale in financial services, fintech, or real estate industry
- Successful oversight and growth of sales / business development strategy focused on individual clients
- Proven ability to lead a team towards sales growth, while displaying exceptional leadership skills and confidence.
- Experience evaluating product/market fit, analyzing data to identify investor trends, and transforming feedback into actionable sales strategies.
- Clear and concise communication with a natural ability to ask for and close the sale
- Interpersonal skills that encourage openness and trust both internally and externally
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, adaptable to business fluctuations, work comfortably in group settings, persuasive and charismatic individual
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well against demanding deadlines
