As an Inbound Account Executive, you will play a vital role within the sales team at Melio. Communicating with small business owners through inbound leads, you will need to demonstrate the value of our product and possible partnership to small businesses. As a customer-facing role, you will be a key part in the growth and development of our sales organization and the voice of Melio . 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Put our customers first, and deliver strong communication and partnership throughout their sales experience
  • Maintain all inbound inquiries by calling and emailing prospects
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs as a business, and how Melio can serve them
  • Provide strong follow up leads, while staying organized to continue moving prospects towards a close
  • Be a champion to the Melio team by going above and beyond in your outreach and communication 

What we’d love to see: 

  • 2+ years of experience managing inbound leads, or in another sales/customer-facing position
  • 1+ years with a quota carrying role, with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Drive to build valuable relationships with potential customers
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evergreen environment
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and meet deadlines
  • Prior experience utilizing Salesforce preferred
  • Bonus points for experience working with small businesses in a sales capacity
  • Bonus points for prior experience working for a tech startup or a similar sales environment driven by the vision and success of the company is a plus
