We’re currently hiring a Media Sales Development Representative (Media SDR), supporting the efforts of our media sales team in North America. This position is an integral part of our work in identifying and engaging new customers, inbound and outbound, in order to increase the productivity of our sales force, while providing an invaluable opportunity for successful candidates to learn on the job, and transition into media sales longer-term.
About you:
- Looking to start a career in sales; passionate about advertising, ad-tech and digital media.
- Driven to succeed, motivated by results, and eager to learn.
- Recent graduate of a 4 year university, with 1-2 years professional and/or relevant intern experience, looking for an entry-level opportunity where you will be able to contribute immediately and grow within the organization.
- Well organized and diligent in your work; able to manage multiple tasks/priorities, and deliver results with a sense of urgency.
- Tactful, insightful and creative; able to pursue new advertiser partnerships with persistence, while creating value and positioning Taboola appropriately.
- Team player, willing to collaborate with our media sales team and other media sales development representatives, as well as other departments in the company.
In this job you will:
- Work closely with the media sales team to uncover untouched opportunities, developing new points of contact with potential new media partners; targeting decision-makers at brands, agencies and publishers looking to grow their online reach, but not currently engaged with Taboola.
- Research qualified, prospect accounts, and generate scalable, high quality leads, helping to manage the outbound lead generation process.
- Identify potential revenue-streams and decision-makers from target organizations; and drive new partnership development through professional outreach via email, phone, social media and nearby industry events; with a focus on setting new appointments for the media sales team.
- Educate prospects on Taboola advertising solutions, catering to the unique needs of each advertiser segment and their existing digital media strategy.
