Narmi's Co-Founders previously ran a financial institution as CEO and CTO so understand the challenges and needs of the market first-hand. This gives us a unique competitive advantage and heavily influences our product and engineering efforts.
Given our platform's success, we are excited to expand the number of financial institutions we serve. To do so, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative that shares our vision in helping financial institutions ensure successful, digital-first growth over the next decade. We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our sales team. Your purpose will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities across the bank and credit union industry. You’ll be measured on your ability to create new opportunities that lead to new business. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their career by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. We’re looking for people who not only have a track record of being the best of the best but can also think critically about driving customer growth and building our sales development organization.
Responsibilities
- Generating qualified demos and opportunities via outbound phone and email
- Updating and leveraging CRM to better track our potential customers
- Work closely with Marketing to execute strategy to reach 11,500+ regional and community financial institutions
- Develop a strong understanding of the Narmi Platform and its key differentiators
- Reporting on our prospecting performance and identifying potential optimizations
- Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
- Attend bank and credit union conferences as needed and schedule meetings with decision makers
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience
- Track record of building a sales pipeline and strong prospecting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
- Good time management, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn and apply complex, industry specific concepts
