Sales Operations Manager (Deals & Revenue Programs)

We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join Snap! Aligned closely to our Sales organization, you will oversee a high-performing global team in designing strategic advertiser incentives and executing pricing and yield management operations. You will use a combination of analytical skills, business knowledge and creative thinking to find revenue-driving solutions for Snap over the short and long term. As a leader of our Sales Operations organization, your mindset for scaling workflows and optimizing processes will help unlock efficiency gains and drive productivity. Working from our New York or Chicago office, you’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, Audit and Legal teams.
What you’ll do:
Define the team’s roadmap of priorities, activities and timelines
Partner with sales leadership and front-line sales to craft compelling customer incentives with thoughtful cost-benefit analysis, a long-term mindset and knowledge of marketplace dynamics
Enable team members to manage exception case volume and achieve core KPIs related to turnaround time, revenue impact and ROI
Support your team in managing complex deal escalations in a timely manner
Continuously evolve reporting capabilities to track progress, impact, and insights to enhance customer incentive recommendations
Integrate front-line perspectives from the Sales team in shaping product design and launch strategies related to pricing, inventory management and discounting
Cultivate strong working relationships with Sales, Product, Finance, Audit and Legal partners to oversee governance-related processes for media discounting
Actively strengthen the capabilities of the broader Sales Ops team’s infrastructure and people
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Best-in-class partnership skills with Sales and cross-functional teams, including an ability to work collaboratively, find solutions and challenge stakeholders respectfully
Command of digital advertising and yield management, ideally in an auction environment
Professional operations experience in managing a team to SLAs and KPIs within an environment that has dynamic volume and a degree of internal relationship management
Strong team leadership capabilities, particularly in terms of planning, communication, prioritization, delegation and people development
Mindset to approach problems analytically, with structure and strong project management
Ability to drive results with ownership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to strengthening Sales processes with knowledge, creativity and empathy
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and customization to support sales workflows
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years working in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Sales, Management Consulting or other similar functions
3+ years experience in a sales environment within digital advertising, media or a related industry
Preferred qualifications:
Talent for directly managing individuals in an operational environment
Robust track record of building strong relationships with Sales Teams and cross-functional teams using a collaborative mindset and a focus on providing positive impact
Experience working in the technology, media and advertising space, specifically across digital/ mobile as well as different geographic markets
Proven ability to manage discussions across multiple stakeholders with different points of view and influence executives or team members to adopt recommendations or shift behaviors
Experience designing new operational workflows as well as maintaining/optimizing existing workflows
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance or related field
Certification or practical experience with Salesforce CRM
Fluency with operational data, including TAT, CAC, LTV and ROI
