We’re looking for an experienced sales leader to scale our business in the Americas: North and Latin America. You can identify what’s needed and give yourself leverage through thinking quick on your feet, leading others, working smarter, and making use of technology. You are a self starter dedicated to improvement. You know the hardest things in life can’t be done alone - you need a team to achieve worthwhile goals.
You have strong background in SaaS/B2B sales and customer success in the Facebook online advertising ecosystem. You take pride of your strong interest and excellence in product understanding. You are passionate about all phases of acquiring and serving customers – from pipeline generation to customer onboarding and retention and customer service. You are able to navigate between the hunter and customer success approaches in customer work.
Your role as VP Sales will include coaching, scaling and elevating the whole US organisation to offer world-class service to your customers. You are reporting to General Manager of Americas. A key focus area in your role will be about building an pioneering sales team, reporting to you, and strengthening results-driven sales culture at Smartly.io.

As VP of Sales Americas at Smartly.io you would be responsible of- Organizing Smartly.io’s customer work as a whole
- Leading, building, and scaling Smartly.io's Americas sales operations team
- Expanding Smartly.io presence in the Americas market and working with our customers
- Developing the Smartly.io sales processes and organization: identify and solve new problems, explore new and shape our current sales models, set metrics and structure or flexibility where needed
- Developing in-depth knowledge of our product, online marketing, and our competitors
- Working closely with Facebook
- Measuring and maintaining a high level of customer service quality
- Working hands-on with your team to provide outstanding customer service and experience
- Identifying potential areas or new market or revenue opportunity
- Engaging with different verticals and customers on a daily basis
- Participating and representing Smartly.io at key industry events
- Mentoring the Customer teams for continuous improvement
- 7+ years of experience in building, managing, and carrying the P&L responsibility of SaaS/B2B sales in the Facebook online advertising ecosystem
- A proven track record in building sales and customer success organizations, including coaching and recruiting
- A proven track record of planning strong GTM strategies, leading successful new market entries, and enabling sales and customer team to exceed their targets on a constant basis
- Startup / founder experience
- Comfortability to work both as a manager and as a hands-on contributor
- Drive for working in a fast-paced environment—you love doing what’s never been done before
- Incredibly fast learning skills
- Clear and thoughtful communication (verbal and written), excellent English skills
- Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical
