As Vimeo’s Vice President of EMEA Sales, you will be responsible for building out a European based Sales Team to sell the Vimeo OTT and Livestream SaaS platforms. In this quota-carrying role you will attract, hire and retain a world class Sales Team that will convert prospects to paying customers by handling both qualified inbound opportunities as well as outbound prospecting. The Vimeo Vice President of EMEA Sales should have strong interpersonal skills, be driven, assertive and passionate with a desire to help customers achieve their business goals. This person should possess a track record of consistent quota over-achievement as well as strong forecast accuracy. The ideal candidate has relevant video domain expertise.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit, train, and retain a top performing sales team
  • Establish London based office
  • Exceed sales quota targets by selling Vimeo OTT and Livestream SaaS platforms
  • Convey Vimeo’s unique value proposition to customers and handle objections
  • Position solution against competitive offerings in market
  • Work directly with leading Brands and Media companies to help solve their video needs
  • Maintain CRM data and pipeline within Salesforce.com
  • Actively manage leads pipeline and campaigns in order to meet goals and objectives
  • Be able to demonstrate Vimeo product capabilities to customers
  • Attend industry events as a key component of outbound prospecting activity

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 7+ years experience generating new SaaS sales
  • 5+ years leading sales teams
  • Knowledge of unique European market trends and business needs
  • Knowledge of various online video, OTT, advertising, payment, analytics, and other video technology companies
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • Team player that will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment
  • Highly motivated and results driven self-starter. Operates with a sense of urgency and values accountability
  • Solid sales foundation built through sales training and practical experience
  • Passion for Vimeo and our creative community
  • Bachelor's degree required
