Job Overview
This role delivers insights and supports leaders in making strategic and operational decisions through advanced data analysis and measurement techniques. It primarily involves generating analysis, reporting, recommendations, and measurement methodologies using statistics, data science, and business intelligence tools. The role differentiates itself by leading collaborative efforts across multiple teams to address complex measurement, modeling, and analysis requests. Success is measured by the quality of insights provided, rigor and scalability of measurement approaches, effectiveness of communication, and impact on decision-making processes. The work influences organizational strategies and customer experiences by enabling data-driven improvements and informed business actions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights and recommendations that optimize campaign performance and measurement quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain measurement frameworks, data and reporting solutions, including analytical models, reports, dashboards, and self-service tools to support enterprise objectives.
  • Apply statistical, causal inference, experimental design, and modeling techniques to measure campaign effectiveness, validate lift and incrementality methodologies, and troubleshoot anomalous, negative, or inconclusive results.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex statistical concepts, measurement limitations, and analytical findings to influence leadership decisions.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • 2+ years of experience developing, executing, or validating advertising measurement solutions, including incrementality, experimental design, or causal inference
  • Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, decision science, statistics, economics, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • 7-10 years Data Science and Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, statistical modeling, quantitative analysis & research
  • Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language (Required)
  • Advertising, ad tech, or retail media experience (Preferred)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $116,040 - $209,280

National Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
