About Rythm Health

Rythm Health sends you an easy, painless at-home kit to collect your own blood sample. Your results show up in a private, HIPAA-compliant dashboard, where you can see how your biomarkers change over time and learn what they mean for your health.

What You’ll Do

• Own internal tools end-to-end — from design discussion to production rollout and monitoring.

• Build and maintain dashboards and workflows for lab operations, customer service, shipping, logistics, and other internal teams.

• Ship TypeScript across our web app, Node/Express backend, and supporting services.

• Design and build fault-tolerant, HIPAA-compliant services with a strong focus on privacy, security, and stability.

• Document your work so others can move fast and confidently build on top of it.

• Be a great generalist across our stack OR an expert in a few areas.

You’re a great fit if you…

• Live and work in the U.S. and communicate clearly in English.

• Bring 4+ years of hands-on software experience, with advanced TypeScript skills.

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where procedures aren’t clearly defined.

• Have built meaningful internal tools or data dashboards you can show and describe in detail.

• Manage your own time, break down ambiguous problems, and deliver.

• Use AI tools as an accelerator—never as the decision-maker.

• Have experience with React Router, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

• Understand backend design and data modeling in SQL/Postgres.

• Are not submitting an AI resume. (If you are human, please say so in your application.)

• Have written reliable tests with Vitest, Cypress, Jest, etc.

• Salary: $120k – $200k

• Equity: 0.05 % – 0.25 %

3. 60-minute systems-design exercise — no leet code tricks; just high-level design and SQL pseudocode.

4. Choose one:

   1. 45-minute live React exercise to replicate a small UI, or

   2. 2-hour take-home project — build a simple React/React Native feature (cap of 2 hours)

5. References & final chats — meet another team member, ask any last questions, and wrap up logistics.
