About the role: As our sole Senior Legal Counsel based in the United States, you’ll lead commercial contract negotiations and privacy matters for a wide range of deals, partnering closely with Sales, Procurement, R&D, Product, Security and Finance, while operating as an integral part of AppsFlyer’s broader legal team, collaborating daily with colleagues and leadership

What You’ll Do:

  • Draft, review, negotiate and close commercial and technology-related contracts, including master services agreements, SaaS subscription agreements, license agreements, data protection agreements, reseller and referral agreements, RFP responses and supporting documentation with customers, partners and vendors.
  • Coordinate commercial and contractual issues with other groups and departments across the company (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Security, IT, R&D) in furtherance of corporate policy.
  • Develop a strong understanding of AppsFlyer’s technology and provide timely, practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations on commercial, regulatory and privacy issues.
  • Monitor and advise on applicable laws relating to commercial transactions, including data privacy and other regulatory compliance matters.
  • Develop and maintain company contract templates, business processes and internal policies and guidelines to help scale the business.
  • Contribute to other legal projects as needed from time to time.

What You Bring:

  • Qualified Lawyer with at least 5 years of commercial and technology law experience, gained at a major law firm and/or in an in-house legal department.
  • Experience handling complex, technology-related commercial legal matters, including independently reviewing, drafting, negotiating and closing agreements with minimal support.
  • Knowledge and experience in data privacy laws and related regulations.
  • Experience in SaaS or big data businesses.
  • Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to independently negotiate agreements and lead calls with other legal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and support multiple matters simultaneously for different stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to work independently from a US location while reporting to and closely collaborating with HQ and the legal team in Israel.
  • Highly independent, with a strong personality, able to multitask across multiple matters and stakeholders and manage stress well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high motivation to contribute to the success of the company.
  • Ability to comfortably deal with a global customer and supplier base in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a clear and concise drafting style, with English at mother-tongue level.

Nice To Have: 

  • CIPP certification.
  • Experience in adtech and/or martech.

For our US-based candidates, the expected ‘On Target Earnings’ (OTE) are between $220,000 and $250,000 (including bonus). The offer varies on many factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, interview results, references, etc.
