SENIOR MANAGER, AFFILIATE MARKETING – COMMERCIAL LINES, PERFORMANCE MARKETING, GEICO
 

GEICO is seeking a Senior Manager of Affiliates focused on GEICO’s Commercial Line of Business. This individual will be an integral part of GEICO’s performance media team which is comprised of an internal paid search & affiliates team that develop and execute paid campaigns but also oversee a paid media agency for the other paid media channels (eg programmatic display and social media).

This individual will develop, execute, optimize and report paid affiliate (or aggregator) campaigns for GEICO’s Commercial Line of Business while simultaneously coordinating with the rest of the paid media team to drive profitable business growth. This role requires the agility to go hands on keyboard and manage complex campaign execution.

Collaboration and confidence will be critical to the success of this role. Our marketing organization is rapidly evolving and integrating new functions – so it’s important you are comfortable with a high level of interoperability across various internal and external teams to produce solutions as well as developing new methods.

This role reports into the Director of Affiliates, Performance Marketing.

Our department’s hybrid model is 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility. Corporate offices are in Bethesda, MD; Manhattan, NY;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead GEICO’s Commercial Line of Business affiliate and aggregator marketing strategy across key partners to drive profitable customer acquisition and business growth
  • Develop, execute, and optimize affiliate campaigns, partner economics, and commercial frameworks for the Commercial Line of Business to improve conversion efficiency and cost per new business
  • Own day-to-day performance management of Commercial Line of Business affiliate and aggregator partners, including forecasting, pacing, bidding, troubleshooting, and relationship management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new affiliate, aggregator, and strategic partner opportunities that can scale Commercial Line of Business volume while maintaining quality standards
  • Establish a rigorous testing and measurement agenda to assess incrementality, partner quality, traffic performance, and long-term value
  • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of affiliate channel performance, historical trends, partner contribution, and competitive benchmarks
  • Partner closely with Analytics, Finance, Product, Creative, and broader Performance Marketing teams to align affiliate strategy with company growth objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement in partner performance through optimization of placements, offers, landing experiences, and conversion pathways
  • Ensure strong governance across affiliate marketing activities, including compliance, brand standards, tracking accuracy, and contractual accountability
  • Stay current on affiliate marketing trends, platform changes, and industry best practices to inform strategy and unlock new growth opportunities
  • Report into the Director of Affiliates, Performance Marketing

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in affiliate marketing
  • Experience managing enterprise-level budgets with affiliate networks such as MediaAlpha and QuinnStreet, ideally within the Commercial or small business insurance space
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Performance marketing mindset to work toward goals and targets
  • Exceptional leadership and management capabilities to oversee team members and agencies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration and reporting

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with large enterprise budgets
  • Insurance experience
  • Incrementality measurement experience
  • Previous experience in broader performance marketing roles or traffic acquisition
  • Experience managing direct relationships with publishers focused on commercial or small business insurance (e.g. Insurify, NerdWallet, etc)


 

Annual Salary

$121,975.00 - $189,625.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
