GLG is seeking a Senior Manager, Expert Content Business Operations to lead the business operations function supporting GLG’s Expert Content Library.

Expert Content is a high-priority growth area for GLG as clients increasingly consume expert insights through content libraries, AI tools, data feeds, third-party platforms, and workflow integrations. This role will help ensure the business has the operating structure, performance visibility, partner coordination, and execution discipline needed to support continued growth.

The Senior Manager will serve as a key operating partner to the Global Head of Content and manage a team supporting Library operations across regions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Team Leadership

· Translate business priorities into operating plans, leadership updates, and execution tracking, creating clear structure across workstreams, decisions, and owners.

· Manage and develop team members supporting Library operations, reporting, execution, and cross-regional coverage.

· Coordinate across Content, Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial, and external partners to keep key initiatives moving.

· Represent the Global Head of Content in select meetings, capturing decisions, risks, and next steps.

· Strengthen operating processes, documentation, and backup coverage so the business runs consistently across regions.

Reporting & Business Insights

· Own recurring performance reporting across production, readership, client engagement, and platform performance.

· Build business reviews that highlight performance trends, risks, and actions needed.

· Track discoverability and adoption across GLG platforms, third-party distribution, and AI-enabled channels.

· Partner with Data, BI, Product, and Commercial teams to improve visibility into how clients use Expert Content.

· Turn data and stakeholder input into clear recommendations for product focus, partner priorities, readership growth, and operational improvement.

Distribution & Partner Coordination

· Serve as the Content point of contact for third-party platform and distribution partners on Library-related matters.

· Support execution across distribution channels, including feeds, APIs, entitlements, delivery, and AI-enabled access.

· Work with Product, Engineering, and Data on partner requests, product gaps, and technical dependencies.

Client, GTM & AI-Enabled Research Support

· Support select client-facing demos, showing how clients can use AI and LLM tools to access, synthesize, and apply Library insights.

· Explain practical use cases for Expert Content, including themes, signals, validation points, expert disagreement, and differentiated perspectives.

· Maintain and review demo examples, technical collateral, and GTM materials for accuracy, usability, and alignment with the Expert Content offering.

· Capture feedback from client-facing teams, client discussions, and partner conversations to inform product and content priorities.

Qualifications

Required

· 7+ years of experience in business operations, product operations, program management, or content/platform operations.

· Background in financial services, financial information, or research and data products, with an understanding of how institutional clients consume and apply research.

· Strong analytical skills, including experience building reporting processes, tracking business performance, and translating data into decisions.

· Experience managing and developing team members, ideally across regions or time zones.

· Strong operating judgment managing cross-functional work with Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial, and senior stakeholders.

· Practical fluency with AI and LLM tools, with the ability to apply them to real client or internal workflows.

· Ability to support client-facing demos and explain how content, data, research, or workflow products can be used in practical settings.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical, commercial, leadership, partner, and client audiences.

Preferred

· Experience with expert networks, expert research platforms, or other primary-research businesses.

· Experience with content distribution, API/data feed concepts, entitlements, or third-party platform partnerships.

· Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Looker or equivalent.

· Track record of improving operational processes, reporting infrastructure, platform and AI-assisted workflows.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$98,000$150,000 USD
