Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, high-impact, and strategic individual to join OpenTable’s Global Partnerships team as a Senior Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership and management of one of OpenTable's most strategic global partnerships, spanning both our B2B (restaurant) and B2C (diner) businesses. This is a high-expectation role for a candidate who is comfortable with C-suite level interaction and is skilled at both complex business development—negotiating and closing groundbreaking deals—and world-class strategic partner management—successfully bringing those partnerships to life to accelerate company growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and successful execution of a single, highly strategic, global partnership that is critical to OpenTable’s growth.

  • Over time, this role is anticipated to expand its scope to include the oversight and management of additional strategic partners, contributing to the continued growth of OpenTable's global partnerships portfolio.

  • Lead complex negotiations and contracting processes, focusing on deal structure and terms that maximize strategic value and growth for OpenTable.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of partnership objectives.

  • Act as the primary relationship owner, including regular interaction with C-suite and senior leadership both internally and with the partner organization.

  • Navigate ambiguous or complex partnership challenges, serving as a decisive problem-solver to maintain momentum and achieve key metrics.

  • Develop and manage the joint business plan, OKRs, and performance metrics for the partnership, providing regular, concise communications to senior management on strategy and results.

  • Proactively anticipate and resolve complex, and sometimes difficult, partner issues while managing competing priorities to ensure long-term partner health.

Please apply if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partner management, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing highly complex, global partnerships.

  • Demonstrated expertise in both the negotiation and closing of significant strategic deals, as well as the operational management and launch of those partnerships.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with proven experience in C-suite level communication and driving consensus across diverse, global teams.

  • A strong ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, coupled with a demonstrated capacity to solve complex, cross-functional business and technical problems.

  • Experience working with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop partnerships that deliver growth, brand exposure, and creative benefits for users.

  • Demonstrated quantitative acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and performance metrics to drive strategic partnership decisions and growth.

  • Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and strategic contract management skills.
