Senior Manager/Director, Recruiting
Background
The biggest bottleneck in bringing new treatments to patients is the clinical trial. On average, getting a drug through the trial process takes nearly a decade and frequently costs $1B+. And the problem is only getting worse.
TrialSpark is a new healthcare company that owns the end-to-end drug development process. Our proprietary technology allows us to integrate and improve clinical research for patients, providers, and sponsors, while executing clinical trials faster and cheaper.
Job Description
We’re hiring a Senior Manager/Director, Recruiting as we look to grow by ~50% over the next 6 months, including doubling our tech team footprint. The main buckets of responsibility:
- Ownership for hiring at all levels of the company
- Acting as the primary point of contact for our teams, with accountability for progress against our hiring goals
- Managing, coaching and growing a high performing team of recruiters, sourcers and coordinators
- Spearheading DEI initiatives including establishing the right metrics, using our historic data to drive decision-making, designing our partnerships strategy and investing in the right tools
- Designing and overseeing our employment brand including defining our employment value proposition, defining our investment in grassroots initiatives, engaging in university programs, etc.
- Managing our Recruiting budget including investment in partnerships, tools and agencies
- Building hiring infrastructure including designing KPIs and productivity metrics
- Improving recruiting processes
- Running full-cycle searches for Executive Leadership roles
Relevant Experience
- 6+ years of professional in-house recruiting experience and at least 2 years of management experience
- Experience hiring at all levels and with a preference for a mix of in-house and agency experience
- Experience building and creating recruiting processes including establishment and tracking of KPIs and metrics
- Strong hiring manager engagement and partnership experience
