The Senior Operations Engineering Program Manager supports execution across key engineering initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating program activities and contributing to frameworks that enable the successful delivery of operational priorities. The position supports the tracking and reporting of key performance metrics, monitors program and process effectiveness, and highlights insights to support continuous improvement.
This individual partners cross-functionally to help translate strategic plans into actionable deliverables, ensuring alignment and progress across the engineering organization. The role focuses on driving day-to-day program execution, maintaining visibility into milestones, and supporting accountability to deliver operational results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the CyrusOne Data Center Operations Runbook, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and consistency across sites.
  • Drive standardization efforts across Operations Engineering by implementing and reinforcing consistent processes, documentation, and execution models. Key areas include Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Engineering Change Management, site drawing and Sequence of Operations (SOO) control, and operating procedure governance and quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Reliability, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering teams to support the translation of technical requirements into scalable operational processes and programs, driving alignment and adoption.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies across existing processes and lead initiatives to address them—improving operational performance, reducing risk, and increasing effectiveness.
  • Establish and manage program-level metrics, reporting, and performance tracking to provide visibility into progress, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or other technical degree)
  • 8–10+ years in Data Center/Critical Infrastructure industry
