The Impact You Will Make

The Video Production Specialist is a key member of the creative team delivering compelling videos and motion graphics that showcase the stories of our students, faculty, and partners. This role is responsible for editing polished videos with existing footage and animated text, used in our partner’s marketing efforts. These types of videos are, but not limited to, paid social video content, brand awareness video content, testimonial story driven content for organic and/or paid media efforts, and more.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment, is deeply committed to creating video content that advances Risepoint’s mission to expand access to workforce-relevant education, has a strong sense for design and motion graphics and has previous experience adopting AI tools and workflows.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Edit and assemble raw footage and motion graphics into polished video content for a variety of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to social media ads, website videos, training materials, and executive communications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in creative, marketing, growth marketing and communications, to ensure brand consistency and storytelling alignment.
  • Creatively enhance final video product utilizing motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and visual effects as needed.
  • Be able to take and act on constructive feedback from leaders, teammates, as well as internal and external partners.
  • Independently manage and organize video assets, project files, and media libraries based on departments' best practices and standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong version control, ensuring efficient feedback cycles, timely delivery, and alignment with stakeholder expectations. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to achieve the necessary timelines for deliverables. Raise any roadblocks to management for resolution. 
  • Maintain consistent, transparent communication with the Director, Video Production and relevant teams, providing status updates, surfacing risks, and ensuring alignment on creative direction and execution.

  • Integrating with the existing team in a positive manner, while being collaborative and solution oriented.
  • Playing a part in our goal to increase output and speed to market, while continuing to push to elevate the creative.

How Impact Will be Measured

  • Productivity is measured by regular reporting from our project managers about deadlines, timing and output expectations.
  • Quarterly Check-in’s with Director, Video Production on progress towards personal and departmental goals.
  • The creative output should align with greater company goals. Delivering on lead and application volume.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop and Illustrator. Exhibit strong creative judgment, originality, and discretion in storytelling, pacing, visual treatment, motion design, sound, and editing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, while still being part of a team. Leveraging strong organizational and communication skills, to work cross-functionally incorporating stakeholder feedback while exercising sound creative judgment.
  • Background in marketing and communications, with experience creating paid & organic social media assets, as well as other video assets as needed. Demonstrating a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and timing.
  • Must submit portfolio with initial application in order to be considered.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Understanding of content strategy and digital marketing trends. 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront or similar project management tools.
  • Experience with AI tools and workflows.
