Summary

The Soccer Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all soccer operations for Asphalt Green Soccer Club (AGSC) under the direction of the Associate Director of Soccer and/or the Director of Soccer Operations. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of AGSC’s competitive teams and supplemental programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for athletes, families, and staff. 


Responsibilities 

  • Manage and supervise operational aspects of competitive team programming (approximately 520 athletes) under the direction of the Director of Soccer and/or Associate Director of Soccer. 

  • Assist with staff oversight, including scheduling, onboarding, and training for approximately 20 part-time coaches. 

  • Conduct weekly staff and player evaluations. 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for coaches, handling a high volume of communication. 

  • Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations. 

  • Coordinate travel logistics for staff and players, including tournaments and events. 

  • Assist with player registration, payments, and data intake across systems. 

  • Coordinate and support AGSC events, including club initiatives and special programming. 

  • Assist with AGSC tryouts and player placement processes. 

  • Travel with staff to provide on-site tournament support as needed. 

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations or Director of Soccer. 

 

Qualifications
  • Minimum USSF “D” License or equivalent coaching certification. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a youth sports environment. 

  • Previous youth soccer coaching experience. 

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in working with a demanding parent community. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams. 

  • Experience working in a Salesforce environment preferred.
