Summary
The Soccer Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all soccer operations for Asphalt Green Soccer Club (AGSC) under the direction of the Associate Director of Soccer and/or the Director of Soccer Operations. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of AGSC’s competitive teams and supplemental programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for athletes, families, and staff.
Responsibilities

Manage and supervise operational aspects of competitive team programming (approximately 520 athletes) under the direction of the Director of Soccer and/or Associate Director of Soccer.

Assist with staff oversight, including scheduling, onboarding, and training for approximately 20 part-time coaches.

Conduct weekly staff and player evaluations.

Serve as a primary point of contact for coaches, handling a high volume of communication.

Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations.

Coordinate travel logistics for staff and players, including tournaments and events.

Assist with player registration, payments, and data intake across systems.

Coordinate and support AGSC events, including club initiatives and special programming.

Assist with AGSC tryouts and player placement processes.

Travel with staff to provide on-site tournament support as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations or Director of Soccer.
Qualifications

Minimum USSF “D” License or equivalent coaching certification.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a youth sports environment.

Previous youth soccer coaching experience.

Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in working with a demanding parent community.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams.

Experience working in a Salesforce environment preferred.
