About the Role:
Dashing Diva is on the hunt for a forward-thinking, beauty-obsessed Social Media Manager to lead the charge on our social strategy and day-to-day content across platforms. You'll be the voice of our brand online—building buzz, sparking conversations, and growing a vibrant, engaged community of nail lovers and trendsetters.
In this role, you'll also work closely with the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing to develop and bring 360° campaigns to life through scroll-stopping, social-first content that supports our bigger brand moments. We’re looking for someone who blends creativity with strategy, thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and isn’t afraid to take the lead.
You should have a finger on the pulse of the beauty industry, pop culture, digital platforms, and what’s trending now—plus, a sharp eye for analytics to inform what’s next. If you're a self-starter with big ideas and the hustle to match, this is the role for you.

What You Will Do:
Strategy & Calendar Planning (30%)
  • Build an annual social strategy that supports overall Brand Marketing goals and messaging pillars for new product launches, shade extensions, seasonal/limited-edition collections, and always-on core product support.
  • Lead content planning and copywriting for monthly social calendars across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Youtube, Pinterest), ensuring alignment with brand, retail, and eComm initiatives
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams—including Brand, eCommerce, Retail Marketing—to understand and translate overall business priorities into your monthly social calendars
  • Partner with Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing and key Marketing team stakeholders to develop and execute best-in-class 360 programs and content campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of algorithmic changes and social platform updates to consistently evolve our strategies; be at the forefront of what is happening in the space and propose new platforms to enter and first to market programs 
  • Support the Digital team in executing TikTok Shop initiatives by contributing to paid content efforts, assisting with affiliate marketing programs, and sharing social listening insights to help identify potential sales opportunities

Channel Operations & Community Management (30%)
  • Manage daily posting across all social platforms, including timely reposting of user-generated content (UGC) in Stories
  • Actively engage with our community through comments and direct messages across both organic and paid social channels
  • Monitor and interact with tagged UGC, identifying opportunities to join trending conversations and expand reach to new audiences
  • Identify and execute “surprise & delight” gifting moments for brand advocates, loyal customers, and influencers
  • Conduct daily social listening to stay informed on brand mentions, audience sentiment, and emerging trends within the beauty space
  • Support influencer marketing initiatives, including research, outreach, and relationship management
  • Develop a strategy for engaging with our community on existing customer-led Facebook groups, Reddit threads, etc.

Creative Ideation & Development (20%)
  • Oversee social content plan and build a robust content bank to be utilized on both organic and paid social
  • Brief creative team on always-on product and larger 360 campaign asset requirements, anticipating social needs across photography, videography, and graphics
  • Shoot and edit timely, trend-driven content (events, TikTok/IG Reels, BTS, office culture) with quick turnaround to capitalize on real-time moments
  • Contribute to Creative Team’s campaign ideation and execution from a social lens, providing key insights to top-performing and best-in-class competitive social content and making sure shot lists are inclusive of all social needs

Analytics & Reporting: (20%)
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and yearly analytics reporting that captures key platform and content metrics, including audience growth, engagements, and ecommerce metrics (traffic, sales, etc.).  Present data-informed recommendations for channel and content optimization
  • Track and monitor KPIs in real-time to optimize and pivot strategies, tactics, and content development
  • Utilizesocial listeningto synthesize ongoing trends, test-and-learn, monitor competitive brands, and report on quantitative findingsfromsocialmedia community to inspire new campaigns
  • Regularly review the social and digital work of our competitors and industry leaders to constantly stay at the forefront of digitaltrends; share competitive learnings with broader marketing team

What We’re Looking For: 
  • 4-5 years of previous social media experience; background in beauty or personal care consumer goods is strongly preferred 
  • Minimum 2 years of leading the strategy and execution of a brand’s social media channels with a proven ability to scale a brand’s presence on TikTok and Instagram; Experience with TikTok Shop is a plus
  • Proven ability to strategize, set KPIs, and execute accordingly to meet those goals and objectives 
  • "Roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, willing to jump in as needed to push projects along
  • Strong understanding and interest in beauty and cultural trends, with the ability and desire to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with the Dashing Diva brand
  • Naturally curious and an idea generator—ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social media   
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balance competing priorities   
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills   
  • Elevated creative eye and aesthetic; strong creative vision with experience with capturing photo and video for social—video editing is a plus
  • Keen eye for analytics and data-driven decision making  
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (including Lightroom, Premiere, and Photoshop) is a plus   
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Dash Social, and other similar platforms

Compensation Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
