The opportunityOur client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve the software powering its telemedicine platform. You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to patient- and clinician-facing experiences while helping design reliable, maintainable, and scalable services behind them.
You will join a highly collaborative engineering team working alongside Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders in a Scrum environment. The role offers meaningful ownership across the software lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing solutions through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
The platform is actively used by patients and care teams across all 50 U.S. states and includes a Patient Dashboard for interacting with the care team and a Clinician Dashboard for managing and communicating with patients.
Our client is a healthcare technology company focused on improving access to healthcare through digital and telemedicine solutions.
Its platform connects patients with healthcare professionals through intuitive digital experiences while giving care teams the tools they need to view, manage, and communicate with patients effectively.
The engineering organization places a strong emphasis on software quality, maintainability, accessibility, repeatable engineering practices, and continuous improvement. The client name will be shared with shortlisted candidates before the client interview.

How the engagement works
This is a remote contract role with a confidential healthcare technology client operating a telemedicine platform across all 50 U.S. states. Candidates in the MENA region are preferred.
Day to day, you will work closely with Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
The hiring process begins with a conversation with the client to discuss your experience, technical background, and mutual expectations.
Candidates then complete a short, scoped technical exercise designed to reflect the type of practical engineering work they would encounter in the role.
The final stage is a technical interview with the engineering team focused on software architecture, problem-solving, hands-on development experience, and technical judgment.
For a consultant/contractor engagement, your work will be based on the agreed scope and deliverables. You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and follow required security controls, including two-factor authentication.
