Your Role and Impact

HYPR is seeking a Solutions Engineer with developer relations (DevRel) experience to join our growing team.

This role is focused on bringing HYPR’s technology to life through polished demo experiences, high-quality video content, and engaging field interactions. You will play a critical role in helping customers understand the value of passwordless authentication and identity verification—not just through explanation, but through experience.

You will partner closely with Solutions Engineers, Product, and Go-To-Market teams to transform real product capabilities into clear, compelling demos and content that directly support enterprise sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine demo applications and environments
• Transform raw demos into polished, customer-ready experiences
• Record and produce high-quality demo videos
• Engage with prospects at events and conferences
• Create prospect-specific demo content
• Build lightweight integrations and mock workflows
• Contribute to documentation and enablement materials
• Standardize demo practices across the field

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 3+ years in engineering, DevRel, or technical marketing
• Have used AI tools such as Claude code and bring knowledge of AI content creation
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with APIs and integrations
• Experience with video tools (Loom, OBS, Premiere, etc.)
• Ability to build simple apps (React, Node, Python)

Ideally, you’ll also have some of the following:

• As this is a role may include global focus and responsibilities, you may be required to work outside of the normal working hours in your time zone to partner with other IT Services staff globally
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture including load balancing, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience or comfort with FIDO UAF and FIDO2 
• Experience with Identity Access Management standards such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.0 

Note:

This position is New York based and will be hybrid in office 2-3 days per week in our corporate office.

This position will require up to 30% of domestic travel for events and customer onsites, as well as some possible international travel.

OTE (on-target earnings): $150k - $175k (USD)

On-target earnings (OTE) is the total compensation an employee can expect to earn if they meet their performance targets. It's a projected salary that includes an employee's base salary plus their variable pay.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at HYPR. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other HYPRions. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at HYPR to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
