Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support Vendelux’s growing finance operations. This role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and expense management using Ramp. You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial processes accurate, efficient, and scalable as we grow.
This position will be a full-time onsite position based in our NYC headquarters.
What You’ll DoManage end-to-end Accounts Payable, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment execution
Oversee employee expenses and corporate cards using Ramp, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance
Reconcile Ramp transactions to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
Partner with teams across the company to ensure timely and accurate expense reporting
Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Work cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to resolve billing questions
Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies
Support audits and financial reviews as needed
Help improve and document accounting processes and internal controls
2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a startup or tech environment
Hands-on experience with AR/AP and expense management platforms (Ramp experience strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar a plus)
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Experience supporting SaaS or data-driven businesses
Exposure to revenue recognition or subscription billing
Interest in process optimization and automation
