The Opportunity

Legends Global is seeking an Analyst, Strategic Finance to support the company’s enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and reporting. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Finance, who oversees financial planning & analysis across the company, this individual will work across business units, regions, and corporate functions rather than as a finance partner to a single business. The role works primarily with the VP and the broader finance team, and with business unit finance, Controllership, and Insights/Analytics counterparts.

This is a hands-on role at the center of the monthly, quarterly, and annual finance cycle: building and maintaining the consolidated budget and forecast, analyzing results against plan, and supporting the reporting that goes to senior leadership, the Board, and the private equity sponsor. It offers broad exposure to a global live entertainment platform and the chance to take on more strategic analysis over time.

The ideal candidate is a strong modeler and analyst with an eye for detail, comfortable working with large datasets across many entities, and focused on producing work that is accurate, well-structured, and ready for scrutiny.
Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long-Range Planning

  • Support the consolidated annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plan, coordinating inputs and timelines with business unit finance teams.
  • Build and maintain enterprise financial models and templates covering revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow drivers, ensuring consistency across business units.
  • Consolidate business unit submissions, reconcile them to prior versions, and flag gaps, inconsistencies, and changes in assumptions for the VP’s review.
  • Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to size risks and opportunities around the plan and forecast.

Monthly Reporting and Variance Analysis

  • Prepare the monthly enterprise management reporting package, including the consolidated P&L, EBITDA bridge, and forecast updates.
  • Analyze results against budget, forecast, and prior year; investigate variances with business unit finance and Controllership; and summarize the drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Draft variance commentary and management narrative for review by the VP.
  • Work with Controllership during the monthly close to confirm results are accurate and that operational drivers align with reported figures.

KPI and Performance Tracking

  • Maintain enterprise KPI definitions, dashboards, and scorecards (e.g., EBITDA, margin, budget attainment, venue-level profitability), ensuring consistent tracking across business units.
  • Track cost savings, efficiency, and margin improvement initiatives against targets.
  • Partner with Insights/Analytics and IT to improve data sources, reporting automation, and planning processes, including ERP-related initiatives.

Management, Board, and Sponsor Reporting Support

  • Build the schedules, tables, and draft pages that feed recurring materials for senior leadership, the Board, the private equity sponsor, and lenders, which are finalized and presented by the VP.
  • Ensure figures tie across materials and to Controllership reporting.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests routed through the VP, including support for investment cases, contract and renewal economics, and special projects.

Job Qualifications & Behaviors:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including budget and forecast models, variance analysis, and driver-based planning; PowerPoint skills for building clear, polished supporting materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions, work with imperfect data, and reach clear, defensible conclusions.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and planning or consolidation tools; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into a clear narrative for varied audiences, including the VP, finance colleagues, and business unit partners.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy, with the judgment to know when work is ready for senior review.
  • Strong collaborator who builds trust across business units and corporate functions without formal authority, and who handles confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a sense of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, multi-site, or multi-entity environment is a plus.
  • Background in live events, venue management, hospitality, sports and entertainment, or another multi-site operating business is a plus.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Legends Global offers a competitive total rewards package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
