The Strategic Marketing Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive Account-Based Marketing plan, coordinate campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to engage high-value enterprise accounts effectively.
The Strategic Marketing Manager will work alongside the Strategic Marketing and Sales team to develop and execute a comprehensive Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plan. This role is critical in driving the creation of a robust strategy that more effectively attracts and engages high-value enterprise accounts. The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and contributing to the seamless execution of the strategic direction alongside strategic business partners within the organization.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office.
Primary Duties:
- Strategic Planning Partner with the Strategic Director to develop and refine a comprehensive ABM strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and targeting of high-value accounts. Partner with the Strategic Accounts Team and
- Strategic ABM Specialists to ensure alignment and successful implementation of ABM strategies. Develop segment-specific strategies and ensure the integration of marketing innovation to drive engagement.
- Campaign Management Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in line with strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio, digital campaigns, Brand/communications, Partnerships, and marketing operations, to ensure cohesive project delivery. Optimize marketing efforts by leveraging analytics to track campaign performance and implement improvements.
Team Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with the Strategic Director, Strategic - Sales and Strategic ABM Specialists to ensure a unified approach to Strategic Account objectives. Provide guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Drive effective communication within the strategy team and cross-departmentally to align efforts and maximize impact.
- Performance Evaluation Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ABM campaigns utilizing data analysis to track success metrics. Collaborate with the Strategic Director and VP of Strategic Sales to refine and enhance strategy based on performance data and industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant, equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, business, finance, health care or related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategic or account-based marketing.
- Experience in developing and implementing ABM strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
- Experience working in healthcare marketing or with healthcare organizations.
Proficiency in marketing automation, ABM platforms, CRM platforms like Salesforce, and other relevant tools. - Proven ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
- Experience with data analytics and KPI tracking to inform marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated expertise designing and launching complex, personalized ABM campaigns in partnership with sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, pipeline acceleration, and account-based engagement techniques.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in strategic marketing and business development.
