Role Summary:
FlexTrade is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in the Americas. The team supports new and existing clients across the full project life cycle and provides ongoing services. This work spans analysis, design, and implementation during client onboarding, as well as maintenance and enhancement projects after the client goes live.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will manage client relationships and drive the implementation of post-contract projects and initiatives. The position encompasses project management, an understanding of client business and workflows, and relationship management for assigned accounts.

You will ensure that client goals are clearly understood and successfully delivered by the Client Services team. You will manage multiple client implementations, keeping deliveries on schedule and expectations aligned. You will work directly with clients’ trading desk and technology teams, alongside other Client Services teams, to bring projects to successful completion. Success in this position depends on understanding priorities from the client’s perspective and managing projects and deliverables effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and drive the implementation of projects and other client initiatives.

  • Onboard new clients and manage existing clients.

  • Work alongside technical Client Services team members to plan and deliver client projects.

  • Manage client priorities, ensuring that any changes are clearly communicated and understood.

  • Identify and document key risks, information gaps, and dependencies early so they can be mitigated.

  • Create accountability with clear reporting of implementation progress.

  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of project progress.

  • Conduct quarterly reviews with senior client stakeholders alongside the senior management team.

  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments including Sales, Development, and Technical Support.

  • Track strategic client issues and advance them through internal groups.

  • Coordinate timelines for new work deliverables.

  • Manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks across them.

  • Work with technical support and operations groups to ensure timely resolution of tactical issues.

  • Initiate, participate in, and lead departmental and cross-departmental initiatives to improve processes.

  • Five or more years of experience in front-office trading account management and/or project management.

  • Experience at a software product vendor or consultancy.

  • Strong understanding of buy-side or sell-side trading platforms.

  • Knowledge of FX or equities trading workflows.

  • Ability to manage day-to-day project execution while maintaining a strategic perspective.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.
