About VeeFriends Cards

VeeFriends Cards is the collectible arm of the VeeFriends universe — blending Topps Chrome trading cards, physical collectible stickers, and high-end TCG gameplay. Our designs need to feel exciting, premium, intentional, and collectible-first, while also performing across modern social platforms.

This role is for a designer who understands that design drives desire — especially in collector culture.

The Role

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who will help define and execute the visual identity of VeeFriends Cards across social and collecting. You’ll design assets that make collectors stop, zoom in, and care.

You’ll work closely with marketing, social, and product teams to bring drops, announcements, and storytelling to life — while maintaining visual consistency and high standards. This is not a marketing or product designer role.

This is for a designer who understands cards, parallels, pull moments, and collector psychology — and knows how to express that visually on social platforms.

Core ResponsibilitiesCards-First Social Design
  • Design social graphics centered around:
    • Education of VeeFriends Trading cards & inserts
    • Parallels, serials, and rarity callouts
    • Pull moments and collector highlights through storytelling
  • Make cards feel exciting, premium, and worth stopping for
  • Understand when to let the card breathe vs. when to enhance it
Platform-Native Social Content
  • Create assets optimized for:
    • Instagram feed & carousels
    • Stories & Broadcast Channels
    • X (timelines, threads, announcement visuals)
    • TikTok (graphic-led or hybrid content)
  • Design for scroll behavior, not static viewing
  • Build visuals that read instantly on mobile
Collector Culture & Visual Storytelling
  • Translate collector language into visuals:
    • “Case hit”
    • “Short print”
    • “Serial pull”
    • “Only X exist”
  • Support storytelling around:
    • Drops
    • Big pulls
    • Community wins
    • Historical card moments
    • Current Events translated to collectors
Speed, Consistency & Craft
  • Turn around high-quality social assets quickly
  • Maintain visual consistency across all Cards social channels
  • Adapt templates and formats without making them feel templated
  • Stay organized and responsive in a fast-moving social environment
  • Helps grow VeeFriends Cards to a 1 million follower brand

What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience focused on social content
  • Strong portfolio showing:
    • Social-first design
    • Card, collectibles, or culture-driven visuals
  • Deep understanding of trading cards or collectibles culture
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Strong eye for composition, typography, and hierarchy on mobile
Big Plus If You:
  • Actively collect or follow trading cards
  • Understand pull culture, breaks, and collector hype cycles
  • Can design around screenshots, scans, and card photography
  • Know how to make content feel premium without overdesigning
  • Move fast without losing taste

How You’ll Be Measured
  • Social performance and engagement on Cards content
  • Visual clarity and excitement around cards
  • Consistency across platforms and drops
  • Speed, reliability, and communication
  • Ability to tap into collector energy authentically

Why This Role Matters

Cards don’t sell themselves on social.
Presentation matters.

This role shapes how collectors feel when they see a card — curiosity, excitement, or FOMO — before they even read the caption.

If you think in cards, scrolls, and moments — this is your lane.
