Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Product Marketing Strategy with experience in the private markets ecosystem - startups, venture capital, and the professional services that support them - to accelerate our growth and sharpen our value proposition in this space.

This role will be responsible for the Private Markets Solutions product narrative: translating product capability into sharp, value-driven positioning and messaging, and continuously strengthening that story as we integrate new bank offerings and new audiences become relevant. You'll lead go-to-market planning, act as the voice of the market inside the product organization, and ensure sales and marketing teams have a clear, compelling, consistent articulation of our value, working closely with product, sales, demand generation, digital, and content teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Own the development of clear, compelling positioning and messaging for private markets personas, grounded in how they evaluate and buy solutions. Differentiate our offering by making client value unmistakable, leading with outcomes rather than technical features.
  • Define the messaging framework & library— the structured narrative architecture underpinning sales collateral, the website, campaigns, and client communications.
  • Continuously evolve the narrative as new capabilities, partnerships, or parts of the bank are integrated, and new audiences become relevant.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches

  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and services across regions.
  • Define the launch narrative and coordinate cross-functional delivery with sales, marketing, and product teams. Align go-to-market across the full client lifecycle, from awareness and acquisition through adoption and expansion.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders so campaigns reflect current positioning and are designed around how our teams engage clients.
  • Define and track the metrics that show product marketing impact, including asset usage, launch performance, win rates, conversion and adoption. Use them to refine the narrative and enablement over time.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape within the private markets space.
  • Own competitive intelligence and help the business understand how competitors position their solutions, where we win and lose, and how to sharpen differentiation.

Sales Enablement

  • Equip the sales team with pitch narratives, competitive battlecards, objection-handling guides, platform demo scripts and materials. Keep sales teams informed of product updates, positioning changes, and competitive developments.

Voice of the Market

  • Gather structured insights from clients and from the field, including client needs, seller feedback, competitive positioning, win/loss results and adoption patterns, to inform product roadmap priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the market inside the product organization.

Content Strategy & Management

  • Define the content strategy for product marketing materials.
  • Write clear creative briefs and partner with content and design teams to build and maintain a library of assets. Prioritize the materials that sellers and clients actually use.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing with demonstrable ownership of product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for a broader audience.
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks and product positioning for technology products or platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous commercial challenges, identify root causes and drive toward practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Product marketing experience at a B2B fintech or at a tech company serving startups, VCs, or law firms as primary customers.
  • Experience shaping and evolving messaging through internal and external partnerships (e.g., integrating new products, partners, or business lines into an evolving narrative).
  • Experience working within a large or matrixed organization, where aligning across many stakeholders is part of getting things done.
