Spectrum's Field Operations business unit
Our Field Operations team is responsible for building, upgrading, maintaining, and connecting customers to our advanced, always on, hybrid coaxial-fiber (HFC) and fiber network.
Vice President Field Service - Northeast Region
(Note: this position is based in Rochester with frequent travel throughout New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine
The VP Field Service is responsible for leading efforts to provide outstanding installation and repair service to residential and business customers in the Heartland Region. The VP of Field Service oversees execution of Spectrum's strategy to ensure that customers receive timely and effective service.
Major Responsibilities
  • Along with Area Vice Presidents, responsible for ensuring region meets Spectrum customer commitments, e.g., same day service, appointments within two hours, first appointment resolution
  • Work with National Field Support to ensure effective and efficient distribution of work to Field Technicians (quota and routing)
  • Forecast in-house and contractor resource needs to meet customer and financial demands
  • Work with other business units to develop and execute Spectrum field service initiatives, including large-scale projects to install services to business customers, e.g., national retailers, hotels, hospitals, restaurant chains.
  • Oversee regional relationships with field service vendors to ensure availability of resources and excellent performance.
  • Lead Environmental Health and Safety for the region
  • Monitor Field Service metrics and establish appropriate action plans for improvement.
  • Develop regional Field Service budget with proper management of capital and operating expenses
  • Select, develop and maintain excellent talent at all levels in the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
  • Experience: Experience working in the cable/communication business (10+years), management of annual budget preparation and implementation (8 years), senior level management experience (10+years).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or related field experience equivalent; field experience includes management of customer fulfillment process
  • History of success in field leadership with proven ability to motivate your team

The base pay for this position generally is between
$174,300.00 and $290,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
