What they do: DigitalOcean offers super-fast, on-demand SSD cloud servers.

What they do: Justworks is a HR SaaS solution that helps businesses manage their payroll and employees. The startup also partners directly with providers such as Aetna and MetLife to offer benefits at affordable rates.

What they do: Shutterstock is a marketplace for commercial photographs, videos and music. If you've ever read a corporate blog post, you've seen an image that came from their site. 

Why you want to work there: Shutterstock takes their work/life balance seriously, and typical working hours for most of their staff are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They also offer a ton of on-site activities, including a daily lunchtime meditation session, and weekly yoga and fitness classes. Why you want to work there: LittleBits' swanky office overlooking the Hudson River is a tinkerer's paradise. It's a fun place too, with dogs and robots roaming around and, from what I've been told, spontaneous sing-alongs occurring from time-to-time.
