Provides in-house legal and regulatory counsel to investment, operations, compliance, and leadership teams supporting private and registered credit funds. Responsibilities include fund formation, documentation, governance, compliance, marketing and distribution, regulatory monitoring, conflicts, trading restrictions, and external counsel management across private credit, structured credit, direct lending, asset-based lending, and CLO strategies.

Lead institutional fundraising and capital formation for an alternative investment manager. The role owns senior relationships with pensions, endowments, foundations, insurers, consultants, RIAs, family offices, and other allocators; leads fundraising, due diligence, and allocation discussions; manages investor relationships; develops positioning and messaging; and partners with investment, legal, finance, and operations teams. The position also supports investor materials, market intelligence, conferences, and selective European relationship development.

Oversee the operational lifecycle of credit investments, including trade processing, funding, servicing, reconciliations, reporting, restructurings, and exits. Manage outsourced middle- and back-office providers, strengthen controls and governance, support fund launches and new investment structures, improve data quality and automation, and coordinate with investment, finance, legal, compliance, technology, and external stakeholders.

Build and maintain full-stack web and mobile-friendly applications, design and manage Airtable backends, implement workflow automations (n8n/Zapier), integrate LLM/AI services (e.g., Anthropic Claude), optimize performance, collaborate with leadership and vendors, and document systems to reduce single-owner risk.

Support portfolio managers with quantitative analysis, portfolio monitoring, and risk evaluation. Build and maintain analytical tools, analyze large datasets for investment insights, assist with systematic fixed income strategies, performance attribution, and reporting in collaboration with research and technology teams.

Lead tax operations for investment partnerships and managed accounts, manage external tax deliverables, advise on tax impacts of portfolio transactions and complex instruments, support tax allocations and reporting, coordinate with auditors and advisors, track tax law changes, strengthen controls, and drive efficiency and scalability across tax processes.

Serve as COO partnering with the CEO to design and scale operational infrastructure, governance, technology, finance, risk, investor operations, and vendor management to support multi-strategy growth and fund launches.

Evaluate borrower financials, perform comprehensive credit reviews, conduct cash flow analysis, recommend loan approvals and structuring, prepare credit memoranda, monitor portfolio risk and industry trends, and collaborate with underwriting and risk leadership to maintain disciplined underwriting and support business growth.

Perform fundamental company and industry research in TMT and Consumer, build and maintain financial models, generate and present long/short investment ideas with risk/reward frameworks, monitor holdings and sector developments, and prepare investment memos and supporting materials while collaborating with senior team members.

Provide expert research and advisory services to alternative asset firms and family offices: design research and due-diligence frameworks, build financial models and documentation standards, develop performance monitoring, implement knowledge management, train investment teams, and support special research projects.

Serve as a fractional advisor providing business development, fundraising, and marketing strategy to alternative investment firms focused on digital assets. Advise on action plans, pitch materials, investor outreach, KPI tracking, team coaching, RFP/DDQ accuracy, and capital-raising strategies for institutional and family office audiences.

Develop actionable plans, KPIs, and measurement frameworks; support managers, handle sensitive investigations and regulatory matters, and drive leadership development and succession planning.

Serve as a fractional Chief Risk Officer for hedge funds and family offices, building and overseeing operational risk programs (KRIs, RCSAs, vendor due diligence), designing controls and policies, conducting audits and control testing, advising on vendor/IT/cyber risks, and producing risk reporting and action plans to improve operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Consult as a Trading Assistant to alternative asset clients, handling full trade lifecycle (pre-trade checks, booking, settlement, breaks resolution), liaising with prime brokers, custodians, and administrators, monitoring FX and corporate actions, supporting regulatory reporting, developing action plans, implementing controls, and delivering operational/process improvements.

Serve as a fractional Director of Talent Acquisition advising alternative asset clients on end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution. Lead high-priority investment and operations searches, manage small recruiting teams and third-party firms, design hiring plans, implement policies and KPIs, improve candidate experience, and build client-specific talent intelligence and data systems.

Provide strategic IR advice, develop actionable plans, manage onboarding and ongoing servicing, create and maintain marketing and due-diligence materials (RFPs/DDQs), analyze performance and risk reports, maintain client databases and reporting templates, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate investor communications and positive investor experiences.

Provide compensation program design, benchmarking, and analytics for alternative asset clients. Conduct market analysis, manage annual review processes, advise senior management on pay and incentives, collaborate with HR and Finance, run salary surveys, and help develop total rewards communications to attract and retain talent.
