At Flume I get to work with the most wonderful people who are very passionate about the work that is being done and what Flume is building. Company genuinely cares about employees well being which creates a very healthy and happy work environment.

I spend time collaborating with engineering and product leads to help determine the best approaches to problems we’re facing, architect solutions, and break down work for the engineering team to execute.I also spend a decent bit of my time interviewing - we’re growing quickly, and have to talk to a lot of candidates to facilitate that growth!

In the future everyone will have access to a health plan personalized around their unique needs. Flume is building the universal chassis on top of which these new insurers will operate — ones that break the mold of health coverage.

The biggest problem that our team is solving is our ability to scale. To grow the business, we need to onboard health plans quickly. Our team is scoping, prioritizing, and building the technical and product infrastructure required to condense that onboarding workflow. There is plenty that we still need to solve, but it’s the most fun I’ve ever had.
