Rubie helps companies rip and replace their competitors. ERPs, CRMs, and systems-of-record are notoriously difficult to set up and take a long time to prove value - largely because data migration is complex and gated by powerful incumbents with no incentive to play nice.

We partner with companies that make and sell systems of record to unblock their customer success teams from hundreds of hours of manual work. At our core, we are accomplishing this by building agentic infrastructure to solve very thorny automation and migration challenges.

We are very well capitalized (unannounced Series A), have a great customer base that really loves the product, and there are many fun problems to solve here - we need your help to achieve our mission.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-performing Account Executive hire to drive growth across our target customer base. Working side-by-side with our CEO, you’ll own the sales process end-to-end, both hunting and closing, with support from product and engineering to win deals fast. We have hard-won lessons from many scaled customer deployments at this point - we’ll expect you to hit the ground running and start hunting for and closing deals quickly.

The role is full-time in person in New York City in our Union Square office.

What You’ll Do

  • Mostly sell. We know who our customers are and how to make them successful. We want you to plug into that engine and accelerate it. You’ll own everything from the first contract to expansion.

  • Hunt for deals. We have a highly performant outbound engine, but this role is not for you if you are expecting to never cold call or run GTM experiments. You’ll also partner with the SDR team to provide strategy guidance and mentorship.

  • Product feedback. As the primary touch point with customers, you will be their voice in the room on customer feedback and roadmap discussions.

  • Work in person. We have a strong conviction that our best work happens together in our office in Union Square (NYC). You should be excited about working shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the team, every day.

Who You Are

  • You’ve been a top-5% quota-carrying rep in a closing sales role for at least 3+ years

  • You have experience selling complex products to technical buyers in 5- and 6-figure range

  • You are comfortable sourcing cold opportunities, closing deals, and building relationship with customers

  • You want to move fast while building with extreme quality

  • You don't need an established brand behind you to sell

  • You deeply understand the risk factor associated with joining an early stage startup and can articulate why you still want to do it

What You’ll Get

  • OTE of $240k+ in year 1

  • Meaningfully outsized equity

  • Team-first mindset with some of the most competent people in the industry

  • Hard working, intense environment that doesn't compromise on kindness and having fun

  • Highest level of trust (by default) and immediate agency
