About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analyst to join the E‑FX Systematic Trading team in Corporate & Investment Banking as part of Markets. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage operational and market risk for the Electronic FX Trading book
  • Support the lead AMRS E-FX Trader in building an America's client Electronic FX Trading franchise strategy
  • Optimize Electronic FX client flow to maximize profitable volume
  • Partner with Voice G10 and EM trading to enhance execution efficiency and visibility around Electronic FX flow
  • Support the electronification of non-spot products, including metals and NDFs
  • Partner with the E-FX Quant team to deliver quantitative enhancements to the platform
  • Exercise sound judgment in complex, multi‑faceted situations while navigating policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to drive team deliverables and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Securities Trading-Program experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative, technical, finance, business, or related field
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and technical problem‑solving skills, demonstrated through hands‑on work in research, risk, data science, or market‑related environments
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation, analytics, and process optimization, including building tools or scripts to support risk, trading, or operational workflows
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Successful completion of the National Futures Association (NFA) Swaps Proficiency Requirements within 30 days of hire, unless previously completed and current
  • This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen.
