Designs and governs primarily Oracle Cloud architectures, with support for AWS, Azure, and GCP multi-cloud initiatives. Translates business and technical requirements into scalable, secure hybrid-cloud solutions; develops standards, frameworks, governance models, and architecture documentation. Guides engineering teams and supports migration initiatives involving on-premises infrastructure. Responsibilities include cloud networking, DevOps automation, security, FinOps, monitoring, disaster recovery, database platforms, configuration, patching, backups, and observability.

This position requires the consultant to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Job Description
A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (Architect Professional or Architect Associate) is strongly preferred. Please submit certification credentials when available.
This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS, Azure, frameworks, governance models, and cloud standards for the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, multi/hybrid‑cloud architectures. This role may require guiding engineering teams or supplementing their skill sets. A strong foundation in on‑premises infrastructure is essential due to hybrid integrations and migration initiatives. The organization is also planning to expand Infrastructure‑as‑Code capabilities.
Key Skills
OCI: 6–9 years
Azure / AWS / GCP: 1–2 years each (nice to have)
Hybrid Infrastructure: 4–6 years
Cloud Networking: 4–6 years
Cloud DevOps / Automation: 4–6 years
Cloud Security: 2–3 years
Cloud FinOps: 1–2 years
Architecture Documentation (Visio or Abacus): 2–3 years
Deep expertise in cloud platforms, services, governance, frameworks, and best practices
Proficiency in OCI is mandatory. The architect will focus on developing architectures, standards, and governance models for the OCI platform. Experience across other cloud providers is a plus for multi‑cloud initiatives.
Extensive experience with cloud servers and environments with configuration, patching, network and VLAN configuration, backups, system monitoring and alerts.

Additional Skills and Information: Cloud Architecture, Architecture Patterns. Proficient with AI.
