HPE CloudOps brings together capabilities to help customers simplify, automate and modernize operations across virtualized, private and hybrid cloud environments.

The CloudOps Channel Specialist is a strategic partner leader responsible for accelerating and scaling CloudOps growth through HPE’s most strategic partners. The role shapes and executes joint business strategies with partners, identifies and develops high value CloudOps opportunities, and drives multi-product adoption, strategic pipeline and revenue growth across Morpheus Enterprise, OpsRamp and full CloudOps portfolio.

Operating at the intersection of Partners, Enterprise Field Sales, Pre-Sales, Services and Business Units, the role orchestrates the broader HPE ecosystem to unlock strategic opportunities, accelerate customer engagements to generate and convert partner led demand into revenue. The role serves as a trusted advisor and growth partner, helping strategic partners strengthen their capabilities, build differentiated solutions and services, and establish repeatable joint GTM motions that can scale across customers and markets.


In this role you:

  • Own joint business planning and execution with strategic partners, aligned to HPE CloudOps priorities and revenue objectives with a strong focus on strategic enterprise opportunities and competitive displacement.
  • Drive joint pipeline generation and co-selling with partners and HPE Enterprise Field Sales to create and accelerate new CloudOps opportunities.
  • Expand strategic partners across CloudOps portfolio, increasing multi-product adoption and wallet share.
  • Develop and execute partner-specific growth plans focused on strategic pipeline, multi-product adoption and CloudOps revenue.
  • Lead strategic opportunity reviews, pipeline reviews and partner business reviews to maintain execution rigor and accelerate deal progression.
  • Engage directly with partners and customers through executive engagements, technical workshops, CloudOps modernization sessions and strategic customer meetings.
  • Join partners on strategic customer visits and unattended customer opportunities, demonstrating HPE CloudOps value and enabling partners.
  • Orchestrate the right Pre-Sales, Business Unit, Services, Channel and Sales resources to support strategic partner opportunities and improve conversion.
  • Help partners develop and scale their CloudOps practice and services readiness, including POCs, migrations, implementation and lifecycle services.
  • Communicate and activate HPE CloudOps roadmap, product releases, promotions, sales plays and competitive positioning with strategic partners.
  • Build partner confidence and capability to position CloudOps against competitive virtualization, hybrid cloud and IT operations solutions.
  • Establish strong relationships with partner executives, sales leaders, solution architects and services leaders to create sustained joint business momentum.
  • Share best practices, successful use cases and repeatable sales motions across the broader CloudOps partner ecosystem.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in business, IT, or a related field
  • 5+ years of Tech sales experience with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
  •  HPE VM Essentials or VMware knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems 
  • Experience selling Hypervisor technologies
  • Channel sales experience is preferred
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, responsibility, and eagerness to learn

"The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 172,000 - 355,000 in New York // 151,500 - 355,000 in New Jersey
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%."
