Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.

The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.

About the Role
You lead revenue growth across Samba's programmatic platform partnerships, reporting to the Global Vice President of Commercial Partnerships. Your portfolio is Samba's platform relationships: demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms, and other programmatic intermediaries, selling across Samba's full product suite. It's a role for someone with a consulting, finance, or platform background who brings sharp strategic instincts to a consultative sale.

What You'll Do
  • Build the Pipeline: Prospect and grow a global pipeline of programmatic platforms, including demand-side (DSP), supply-side (SSP), and adtech intermediaries that integrate third-party data and measurement.
  • Sell Into Platforms: Sell into leading advertising technology platforms with emphasis on targeting, planning, and measurement, applying consultative selling to optimize TV data use in omnichannel marketing.
  • Structure the Deals: Structure deals leveraging identity solutions, including direct digital matching and intermediaries like LiveRamp and Experian.
  • Close Large Deals: Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to architect, negotiate, and close large-scale data and analytics agreements.
  • Run Enterprise Sales: Manage a high-value pipeline through Samba's Enterprise Sales Process in Salesforce, meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals with accurate forecasting.
  • Grow the Accounts: Build and grow relationships with mid-level and senior leaders at target accounts to drive year-over-year upsell.
  • Connect the Teams: Work cross-functionally to keep projects on track and connect products, clients, and outcomes, bringing client feedback and new product ideas back to product management.

What You Bring
  • 7+ years in a revenue-focused business development or sales role in advertising, data, measurement, analytics, or adtech and martech SaaS, with media companies, agencies, brands, or platforms.
  • A solid understanding of the programmatic and digital landscape and data's role within it, including working knowledge of syndicated data offerings and translating data into strategic frameworks.
  • Comfortable selling in a team-sell format to senior executives at adtech and measurement platforms, operating across disciplines including Brand, Media, Research, Data and Marketing Sciences, Product, Sales, Technology, Finance, and Strategy.
  • A track record of building multi-level strategic relationships that deliver measurable results: revenue growth, new market penetration, and market share gains.
  • Proven ability to open, navigate, and close six- to seven-figure solution sales in key verticals, with a consistent history of surpassing revenue, new business, and profitability targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to make complex ideas clear and concise.
  • English is required; German, French, Spanish, or Italian is a bonus.
