Position Summary: The Events Manager leads the end-to-end planning, production, and execution of Kith's brand events and experiential activations globally. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail, Content, and Visual Merchandising, this role serves as the operational backbone for all live experiences — from intimate VIP gatherings to large-scale brand moments. The ideal candidate is a seasoned event producer with deep technical production knowledge, strong vendor relationships, and a passion for creating culture-defining experiences. This position requires significant domestic and international travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Events Production & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end production of all brand events and experiential activations, including VIP events, product launches, pop-ups, brand partnerships, and hospitality programs.
  • Serve as the primary on-site lead for all events; manage day-of logistics, vendor coordination, and real-time problem- solving to ensure flawless execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, run-of-show documents, and post-event recaps for every activation.
  • Oversee international events and activations, providing local teams and partners with execution guidelines, creative direction, and on-the-ground support as needed.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to attend, produce, and oversee events — heavy travel required.

Project Management & Budget

  • Own project management for all events from brief through post-mortem; maintain master events calendar and ensure all internal stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Create comprehensive project briefs and distribute to relevant internal teams (Marketing, Retail, Content, VM, Design) in advance of key milestones.
  • Build, manage, and reconcile event budgets; provide regular financial updates to stakeholders and ensure all spend adheres to internal procedures and approval thresholds.
  • Provide feasibility assessments, budgets, and timeline recommendations for incoming creative concepts and new event requests.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Identify, source, and vet vendors, venues, production companies, and independent contractors; manage competitive bid processes and maintain an active vendor roster.
  • Negotiate fees, contracts, and terms with all event partners; ensure agreements are executed in a timely manner and within budget parameters.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors throughout the project lifecycle; lead regular check-ins and status meetings to ensure deliverables are on track.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of all event-related invoices.

Reporting & Recaps

  • Manage and maintain the internal events content library, including photography, video recaps, and production documentation.
  • Brief content and creative teams in advance of events to ensure photo and video capture aligns with brand standards and post-event usage needs.
  • Compile post-event reports including attendance metrics, budget recaps, press coverage, and key learnings for leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the internal liaison between the events function and key departments including Marketing, Retail, PR, Content, Visual Merchandising, and Creative.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing & Events to develop an annual events strategy and calendar aligned with brand priorities and commercial moments.
  • Communicate proactively with leadership on project status, risks, and decisions that require escalation.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience producing live events, brand activations, and/or immersive installations, ideally within fashion, luxury, entertainment, or lifestyle.
  • Experience working within a brand environment, in-house at a fashion, lifestyle, or entertainment company.
  • Demonstrated experience managing events with complex logistics, multiple vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Established vendor, production company, and venue relationships in key markets (New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris).
  • Proven ability to build and manage event budgets of varying scale, with experience in budget reconciliation and AP processes.

Skills

  • Strong technical production knowledge: staging, AV, lighting, fabrication, permitting, venue operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and briefing creative teams.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including evenings and weekends as events require.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Ownership-Driven. A seasoned event producer who takes ownership from concept to close — you are as comfortable in a planning session as you are on a production floor.
  • Proactive & Resourceful. You thrive in fast-moving environments and don't need a lot of hand-holding to get things done. You anticipate needs before they're voiced.
  • Exceptional Communicator. You communicate clearly, directly, and professionally across all levels — from vendors to senior leadership.
  • Creative yet Detail-Oriented. You think creatively about how events can elevate a brand, but you're equally rigorous about the operational details that make them work.
  • Collaborative & Relationship-Oriented. You build strong relationships with vendors, internal partners, and talent — and you know how to navigate complexity with diplomacy.
  • Brand-Aligned. You are aligned with Kith's brand values and bring a genuine passion for culture, fashion, and community to everything you do.
  • Travel-Ready. You are flexible, adaptable, and energized by the demands of a role.
