Noom is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist. You'll be the first person to assume this position so you'll have a lot of opportunity to shape processes as we scale. What You'll Do

• Prepare and input proper payroll data for two full cycle payrolls (bi-weekly and semi-monthly)
• Ensure accurate entry of employee salaries, reported hours, bonuses, severance pay, deductions and withholding for 401(k), garnishment requests, county, state and federal taxes and benefits
• Respond to payroll and benefit related inquiries in a timely manner
• Manage the processing of reimbursements, conversions, terminations, leave of absence, disability and unpaid/paid time off benefit payouts
• Assist with Group Benefits enrollments and coverage changes
• Partner with the Director of People Operations on Open Enrollment and renewal strategy

What We Look For

• Experience managing payroll for a large employee population
• Experience working with state agencies for payroll tax remittance
• Working knowledge of insurance agencies and renewals
• Incredibly organized with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize and execute
• Exceptionally detail-oriented and self-directed
• Natural problem-solver with a can-do attitude
• Experience with HRIS and payroll software, Namely a plus
• Experience managing software implementations a plus
