About the Role:

In order to achieve our ambitious but attainable goals, we are building a best-in-class engineering team, and are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help us attract, engage, and hire awesome talent. In this role, you’ll report directly to our Director of Talent Acquisition, and will serve as our subject matter expert on all things technical sourcing, attraction, engagement, and recruiting strategy. You will spend your time meeting strong engineers where they are, and showing all that Transfix has to offer, acting as a brand and career ambassador to help advance the careers of people who are passionate about building products that make the world better by way of Transfix.

What You'll Do in this Role

• Serve as a critical voice among our Talent Acquisition team to help us meet our recruiting and employer branding goals with an eye toward continuous improvement
• Partner with key hiring managers and stakeholders across the tech org at Transfix to help source, attract, engage, and recruit awesome tech talent
• Be a face of Transfix in the tech world; tap into tech communities, networks, and organizations to ensure that they know what we’re doing and why they may want to be a part of it
• Get creative! Think of innovative ways to get Transfix upfront and center among top tech talent; help develop our tech-specific and company wide Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
• Help increase and drive our diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) efforts by helping evaluate all aspects of our marketing and sourcing processes as well as candidate experience
• Manage anywhere from 5-15 requisitions simultaneously (depending on role type and time of year)
• Create an exceptional candidate experience for all Transfix applicants, referrals, and sourced talent

How You Know this Role is for You

• You are passionate about recruiting because you love building authentic relationships and helping people advance their careers
• You have 3+ years of tech recruiting experience, ideally in a mix of agency and in-house (though agency only is perfectly ok!)
• You have carried multiple job requisitions simultaneously and know how to multi in a fast-paced environment
• You genuinely love technology and enjoy using your left and right brain whenever possible
• You understand that there's an art and a science to recruiting. You are data-driven whenever possible, and evidence-driven when there isn't a lot of data
• You are a curious, active listener. You know that asking the right questions is sometimes more important than giving the right answers, and you love asking those questions
• You can speak on a subject without knowing a ton about it because you know how to listen for and understand the highlights and details that matter most
• You understand how to work with high level stakeholders and hiring managers, balancing meeting and exceeding their expectations with leveraging insights and data to demonstrate the reality of the market
• The idea of ghosting a candidate makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck...
• ...So you’re very good at having difficult conversations and giving constructive feedback as needed to avoid a spooky ghosting situation
• You are curious (yes, we know we said that twice!), honest, and you pride yourself on your integrity
