About the Role
Due to sustained growth, we’re hiring a Technical Recruiter to usher in the talent that will evolve BentoBox to the next level. In this role, the Tech Recruiter will be the primary point of contact for product and engineering candidates, and will display extraordinary interpersonal skills as they guide candidates through our interview process and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Identify the best candidates for BentoBox’s growing product and engineering teams, through a blend of outbound outreach and strategically-placed postings
- Maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of product and engineering talent
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
- Conduct pre-screens and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Manage the interview and offer processes, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement; assist with new hire orientation/onboarding
- Ensure a positive candidate experience at every stage of the interview process
- Embed yourself in the product/engineering community, driving initiatives that keep BentoBox top of mind within it
- Maintain our strong employer brand that gives BentoBox a competitive advantage among other companies seeking engineering talent
- Support BentoBox in continuing to foster an inclusive, diverse workforce
- Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and values
Experience We’re Looking For:
- 2+ year track record of recruiting and pre-screening product and engineering talent, preferably with a blend of in-house and agency experience
- Deep understanding of technical concepts and engineering/product culture
- Previous startup experience preferred
- Strong, pleasant written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
- An understanding of impactful interview techniques and the laws surrounding what’s appropriate to discuss in an interview
- Experience with Greenhouse (or a comparable ATS) and G-Suite
- Passionate about the restaurant industry (previous restaurant experience is a plus)
